Memory lane: Why I didn't check out of location apps Foursquare & @Swarmapp
I've checked in 5,756 times since signing up six years ago with the geo-locator site Foursquare, Swarm's predecessor, and have
remain fiercely loyal even as only an estimated 1/5th of my 479 contacts
bothered to continue with the app; as I wrote this on a Friday
afternoon, I discovered I am 13th on a list of 51 friends who bothered

#StarWars taught me a PR lesson -- 38 years later
As a 9-year-old in the late 1970s who came of age during the first Star
Wars trilogy, I couldn't get enough of this fictional tale of spaceships
